We are looking for a motivated, self-starting sales professional. Our ideal candidate has ample free time, flexible commitments, and works well without constant oversight.

About the Position

We are a small company that specializes in delivering websites to small businesses at an affordable price. We're looking for sales professionals with the drive, determination, and sales expertise to work in the new outside sales division of our business. You will be reporting directly to the owner, and as such, have a direct impact on the direction of the company.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional sales experience required; similar field a plus.
• A professional telephone manner.
• Must have the ability to close over the phone.
• A commitment to the selling profession, and a desire to continuously find better ways for our company to sell.
• A home office fully equipped with high-speed internet, instant messaging, and unlimited local/long distance.
• Eastern or Central timezone preferred.

Day to Day Duties

Day to day duties include: Making yourself available to field incoming sales calls as well as calling targeted business leads. You are expected to be available to field incoming calls during normal business hours. You will be responsible for the entire sales process; from cultivating a relationship to closing the deal and processing the order through our payment system.

Compensation

You will be paid commission for every sale you make. Compensation will include a base hourly rate in addition to commission for all phone calls made to targeted leads. Incoming calls are commission only.

Looking For

We are looking for someone who knows how to build todays websites—not a 1998 website. We are looking for someone who has a history of websites that they have built in the past and a portfolio to proove it.

About the Position

You will be supplied with a steady stream of projects and occasionally work one-on-one with clients. Most of the work will be creating simple HTML pages based on a template that you design, and conform to a standard package offered by us.

Requirements

• A solid portfolio, demonstrating your abilities.
• Clear understanding of a deadline.
• Good time management.
• Bonus: Javascript ninjaness, including jQuery and other libraies
• Bonus: PHP/MySQL experience

Day to Day Duties

Day to day duties include: Taking the plaintext requirements provided by a client and turning them into a working website. A typical website is about 5 pages and should take about a week to finish. You must be able to find a balance between delivering quality and meeting a deadline.

Compensation

For basic projects, compensation will be determined on the project level. For more advanced projects, an hourly rate will be used instead of a project rate to ensure that you are properly compensated for your work.
